Surfing Santa

Surfing Santa wanted a swell
But he needed to ring his bell
And give candies to the kids
Wearing his red hot outfits

He dreamed about a surfboard
To quit surfing only in his floor
Lots of them the elks built
But Santa gave them as a gift

To some new kids on the block
Newborn surfers wannabe
Searching for a wavy spot
In the mysterious salty-sea

He stares at the sea in Christmas time
Some say he thinks he’s in his prime
But he knows he has no chance to go
So he just smiled saying ho- ho- ho.

SLOW DAVE

Dave, the slow kid
He was the one
Who couldn’t lead
Who couldn’t run.

The other kids go so fast
Now hurry up, little Dave
It’s time to try your best
Don’t loose another wave.

When he reaches the sea
All the waves were taken
But he just let them be
The cause is well forsaken.

So like that Jack, Dave
Be nimble, Dave be quick
Dave, go and find a wave
At some different peak.

*the other ones are all placed in the book above:

Fearful One

I’m so afraid of the dark.
My light will stay on at night.
I don’t want to see a ghoul,
Or face the Boogeyman in a fight.

I quit wetting my pants,
But fears still lead me nuts.
I wish I could be like you:
Full of nerve – full of guts.

I hate Bozo the Clown.
I don’t like any kind of ghost.
I’m also scared of Dracula.
He’s the one I fear the most.

I can no longer hit my wild surf
Nothing guarantee when I look
That I won’t see a bad mermaid
Or find the angry Captain Hook

Just like thousands of children
I fear each monster I’ve been told.
But kids have an advantage on me,
Because I’m a forty years old.

SURFER MOON

I'll shout Cowabunga
On the moon
Got a feeling I’ll do it
Someday soon.

I left the Earth.
Landed from my Apollo
I started to explore
This crater is so hollow.

Since I got here
Feel so hot hot
Gotta find indeed
A cooler spot.

To step on my board
And then I’ll hit this place
No one could tell you
I’d be surfing in the space.

Dennis Wilson poem

I was running on the beach,
When I found on my way,
The real surfer beach boy,
Walking along the bay.

I was a little surfer girl,
Nearly three or maybe four.
Dennis Wilson spirit I saw,
Like I never did before.

Do you believe in magic?
Do you believe in ghost?
I don’t care about death.
I asked him to be my host.

I needed a picture of that moment,
So suddenly appeared in a torrent,
As gorgeous as Dennis Wilson was,
A blond and young Dean Torrence.

After the flash of the camera,
They all disappeared in the air.
I wished they could stayed more,
But hold them here wouldn’t be fair

As soon as Dennis Wilson left,
The sky became gray - but I knew,
Even when everything turns black,
Pacific Ocean will always be blue.

Haunted Beach

I was almost forgetting
Paddling in a new division
I was finally heading
A place out of vision.

Today I spent my day
At the haunted beach
Surfing with some gay -
Ghost tied at my leash.

The water was gone
I saw blood and fires
I wasn’t surfing alone
I was among vampires.

The scariest place I’ve been
When later I understood
That was more of a dream
Than a real neighborhood.

*Hanging with The Beach Boys, we were all kinda drunk however.

AIRPLANE WING

If I could ride
The airplane wing
I would feel like
A surfer king.

Cloudy day jumping
Hold on my hand
The next one tumbling
No one can stand.

If you come with me
That would be killing
I’ll do the hard work
And you’ll be chilling.

Practicing tandem surf
Just right up in the sky
You look people down
Waving them good-bye.

Girls on Surf

Sitting on the top of the crest,
She’s got a real good vision.
Yesterday was just taking a rest,
Channel surfing her television.

So decided to shot the curl,
Borrowed things from her bro,
Board and the wax from Earl,
Everything she needed to go.

She took the equipment from the barn.
Went trudging through the white sand.
Caring the heavy surfboard in her arm.
That weigh was kind of hard to stand.

The boys all looked at her pissed off,
Didn’t want a girl to fight for a spot.
Their eyes were now saying ‘‘back off”,
The beach was already crowded a lot.

They said that wasn’t a sport for ladies,
But she ignored calling them a babies.
Never done it before but she was great--
Riding a wave that everyone was afraid.

The boys wasn’t really happy,
Later when she came to brag.
So they just didn’t give a f**k,
Saying it was all beginner’s luck.

SURFING BULLYING

If that bully guy
Can be beat
I’ll make him kneel
Over my feet.

I’ll bury his head
Underneath the sand
I bought a sharp knife
To cut off his hand.

No one recognizes me
I’m acting just like him
I learned from the best
Now I’m totally mean.

Well, I’ll drag him later
To the danger zone
Then rescue his dead body
And take it back home.

Meet the Cowsills

What a lovely sweet family,
Singing a beautiful melody,
While walking along the bridge,
Sounding better than the Partridge.

Baby Susan, Barry and John,
Cuteness element in each song.
Now big Billy, Paul and also Bob,
A lot of talent along mommy Barb.

Surfing in the sunny California,
This group is going to warm ya,
Kind of hippie, but a nice one,
Brothers, sister, and even the mom.

How long time will you take,
To rent a canoe at Indian Lake?
Singing this tune with the band,
Enjoying this countryside land.

Jogging before getting dark,
Catching flowers in the park,
Under the rain and other things,
Wondering what the new day brings.

These young babies had grown,
Childhood never lasts too long.
But to know how does it feels,
You just listen to the Cowsills.

*Here, me and a not that baby anymore, John Cowsill and at the end his older brother Bob Cowsill sending me a very cute messege.
video

Bob - the rain the park and other things! just amazing! and then, I asked him to sing his song You've got no time. He said he didn't recall the song very well, but even then he did sing part of it. But some really nice but also crazy Bob fans messed around with my recording for fun! lol. That was fun!

The Girl and the Sea

The wind messed her hair,
But she didn’t seem to care,
She was trying hard to pick,
Her own distant lonely peak.

There was a crazy point brake,
Sounded like a good on to take.
She needed to have a lot of nerve,
To make that real nice curve.

The world is no longer a sad place,
When you get a wave to embrace.
There’s no reason to be sad or cry,
During this five seconds on the high.

After that she goes down again,
And the world is not the same,
She gets her feet back on the ground,
And just see unhappiness all around.

*just keep in mind: dont back down

HAWAII

I wanted to go to Hawaii
Best waves from the globe
That’s the very reason why
Guess I’m becoming snob.

Hawaiian surfers there
They just can’t stand
Tourists from anywhere
Visiting their island.

They don’t want you here
They do real surf, not pose
They’re shooting the pier
They’re walking the nose.

But I really don’t want
These guys to compete
They are so pleasant
My heart skips a beat.

Maybe I’ll forget for a sec
That I’m here in a surf land
Try to get a Hawaiian back
To walk with along the sand.

Little Hodad

There was a young hodad,
Messing up with his head,
Cruising on the coastline,
Searching for a pipeline.

Pretending he was a good one,
A surfer boy looking for fun.
Everybody’s staring right at him,
If he’d fail people would be mean.

He found a meatball flag,
And said “what a drag”,
No use to his brand new red log.
The one he’d traded for his dog.

But he was happy inside,
If he could, he would hide.
Didn’t want to get in the water,
Wanted people stopping to bother.

SOON CAME THE MOON

The day was late to show up
Where the sun would hide?
Now what is the moon doing up?
She couldn’t wait for the night.
They both need an adjustment.

Even super duper snooper
The one to put things in trail
Got himself into a big blooper
He though the sun was for sale
Orders from the government.

A mate said the sun’s kidnapped.
But the real true they had to face
The sun was just taking a nap
While the moon took his place
In a solar eclipse moment.

Face Bad Weather

Storm clouds begum to loom,
When the boy was surfing out,
He knew he would leave soon,
So to finish he had to pull out.

Too bad cause he was so excited.
He’s surfing was off the wall.
He didn’t do anything wrong,
Rode the heavies and didn’t fall.

But then he saw the storming,
And had to run away like crazy,
Anything to avoid a drowning,
or a sand facial on the surface.

He didn’t expect this weather change,
All of the suddenly during his records,
So now before leaving home in a rage,
He will start to hear the surf reports.

*So, once and again, dont back down!

ONE OUT OF THREE

I got it bad
For a cute guy
But he has a girl
And I’m too shy.

He went to the beach
Brought up his chick
They are so annoying
They make me sick.

They went right into
My special surf spot
I can’t prove I saw it
Very first than they got.

I had to gave up
On my favorite sport
I’ll find something else
From a different sort.

I can’t show up
Can’t come about
Tandem’s company
Three’s a crowd.

Tandem Surf

A boy and a girl mate,
Hanging on the beach,
Is such a kind of date,
In a nice place to meet.

They are holding hands.
Walking on the sand.
More than two friends,
In the surfing land.

All dressed up for surf,
wet suit, sunglass, hat-
And all kinds of stuff.
But the best part comes fast.

Boy and girl will surf tandem,
The best way to this sort of boy,
Spending with his innocent maiden,
Showing her nothing but joy.

Could a love grows somehow,
Under that warm California sun.
Even if the boy knows by now,
The girl is just his summer fun.

SURF DETENTION

I was hitting the wave
When my mates were studying
I tubed inside the wave
While math exam was running.

Sand still in my head
When I flew to the school.
A board instead of my bag
Huarachi in my feet too.

I had nothing in my hand
My teacher got so mad
Because I was lending a pen
So she called up my dad.

Now I don’t need a board
For being a counter-hodad
I’m stuck in my room
Surfing only in my bed.

Add Some Surf to your Nation

Uncle Sam will take a fine vacation,
You’ll be able to catch him in the next station.
Taking a bus straight down to the beach,
The best waves he’s trying to reach.

Settled on the northern shore,
Franklin got there days before.
He was too tired of writing a letter,
That moment a surfari sounded better.

George Washington refused himself,
A third time in an oval office with a shelf.
He called Lincoln for a walk in the sand,
A night in the theater his friend wouldn’t stand.

These fellows wanted a country of their own,
A new place to feel as home.
Because without America to stay,
There would be no Beach Boys surfin’ USA.

*Mike Love (my favorite Beach Boy) reading my poem and enjoying it.

Coward Surfer Boy

Why did you back down,
the craziest wave in town?
Just because you were alone,
You avoided that danger zone.

Do you think it’s all right,
let it go without to fight?
There was no one looking at.
So you acted like a lazy fat.

If you don’t take your chance,
You’ll never be able to dance,
On the rhythm of the wave.
Who said it was to be safe?

You might not be a total kook,
but that’s exactly what you look.
If you aren’t going to use your soul,
You better start to cave your hole.

IT AIN'T HEAVY, IT'S MY BOARD

The road is long
But I sing a song
To make time run
Till I get where I want.

I pulled an all-nighter
Because I’m a fighter
Surfboard in my hand
I’m a walking dead man.

The beach is so far
It’s where you are
And I cannot stop
Till I reach the top.

Stamos Forever

My surfer boy
Blue eyed son
He only wants
Some fun fun fun.

A good drummer
A gorgeous actor
But he likes to add
A different factor.

A good new flesh
Among the oldies
He knows by now
They could be his folks.

Who cares about age?
Druuming I Get Around
He’s the coolest member
The band could found.

Since the young age
Listening to Land Ahoy
So he grew up to be
Our newest beach boy.

FOREVER, HE'LL BE MY BEACH BOY!!
video

AMBIVALENT KID

The newest kid around
He was being wish-wash
While everybody is humble
He thinks he’s a top-notch.

Sees the boys starting out
And wants to surf together
But doesn’t want a wetsuit
Just prefers to wear leather.

Sometimes gives up about surf
Because just wants to join a band
But then forgets it on the way
To the next hamburger stand.

Tired of surfing and singing
He digs to ride a motorcycle
Sometimes goes very slowly
And times drives like a psycho.

This boy thinks he can do it all
Because he’s such an ambivalent
But his thought just shows how
He’s so naïve and kinda innocent.

Caliente Surfing

Let’s go to “La playa”.
Bring your “sombrero de paja”.
There’s a great “chili” blistering sun,
You won’t leave there without a tan.

Listen to a background mariachi sound
Where else that you’ll ever found?
You mix cocktail and coconut water,
And the music starts to get louder.

Surfing in Mexican soil,
Trade your wax for same oil.
Put it on your enemy’s board,
Hope he’s a good man to his lord.

There’s a note saying "danger",
And you want to stay a little more.
But when you get a shark encounter,
It will be useless to say “por favor”.

In the moment of the sunset,
About your plane you’ll forget,
“Buenas” waves you rode in opened sea
I bet you are doing the same right in.

If one hears the noise of a huge freak,
Now he won’t be scary,
Because it’s just you making a trick,
Inside a Mexican shark’s belly.

*A random surfer guy that I found surfing the web.

SCHOOL

Teacher must punish-they say
The one who cheats in a test
But I wasn’t doing it today
Maybe I would in the next.

I was late for the surf contest
Guys were already at the beach
But I had to finish that test
My teacher was such a bitch.

The sound of silence took so long.
Soundtrack during our exam
Not a Simon & Garfunkel song
God, I thought I was a dead man.

Then out of the blue
My cell phone was ringing
I listened to its tune
I was just about to be singing.

Teacher stared mad at me
As soon as she saw its screen
I stood firm as I should be
But she didn’t stop to scream.

I got a zero and that was so weird.
I didn’t do anything, can’t she see?
But why a Clapeyron’s form appeared
Definitely is still a mystery to me.

Jan & Dean Poem

*this one is kinda lame... I wrote it a long time ago! but it can be cute in a certain way.
video

On the stage in a sunny nice day
In this place known as Waimea Bay
Jan and Dean make their scene
As good as they seem
They’ve doing it since a long time before
And bring to the world fun and much more

Jan is the greatest one to start anew
he is adorable when he talks to you
It takes him an hour to say
What Dean in minutes would take just two
But it’s fine to me because I know even then
I will never be able to talk as good as Jan

Dean’s intensive blue eyes
Make jealous the sea
His shinning blond hair
Makes the sun want to weep
I don’t know how could it be
Not seeing him on color TV

Got to love Jan
The highest IQ in a man
Got to love Dean
The most handsome man
You have ever seen
Got to love the whole gang of two
The whole majesty of a duo.

SURF REFLECTIONS

Early today we left home
With no time to come back
We said goodbye to mom
We had her pack us a snack.

Spent the day at SoCal
The coolest place to be
You can’t ever feel small
Try it out coming with me.

Angling here in the best water
You can feel the magic fun
Give the ocean your best laughter
And then you prepare to run.

At night don’t feel sorrow
It’s time to go to your bed
But remember tomorrow
The sea will still be there.

Surf Contest

The dog stopped barking,
In the moment the sun came in,
But now it is too late,
I didn’t sleep a thing.

Now I can’t hit the surf,
Can’t park my Woodie well.
I need a new spot to ride,
Somewhere near the swell.

The contest has just began,
All kinds of people came to see it.
My rivals think it is all for fun,
But I’m so groovy that I can’t dig it.

I wiped out so many times,
Like I never did before.
I pledge I’d never course a wave,
but today I did it twice or more.

Maybe I need to learn how to lose.
I was being such a baby, let’s face it.
There are a lot of kid’s games to choose,
Next time you will se me in a drag race.

* Here I shot Christian singing Then I kissed her at the beach boys concert! The image is awesome, so as his performance!
